The mission of the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library is to advance education, research, and health care through information access, service and innovation. The library serves the educational, research, and clinical needs of health professionals, students and researchers at the Health Sciences Center, the University of Utah, the State of Utah and of the Internet.
Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library is a Regional Medical Library (RML) for the Midcontinental Region in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) awarded by the National Library of Medicine. We are also home to the National Library of Medicine's National Training Center, which offers e-learning and in-person classes related to NLM products and services.
