ALFRED's focus is on allele frequencies in diverse anthropologically defined populations. It is not a compendium of human DNA polymorphisms but of frequencies of selected polymorphisms with an emphasis on those that have been studied in multiple populations. - CiteSeerX is a scientific literature digital library and search engine that focuses primarily on the literature in computer and information science, providing resources such as algorithms, data, metadata, services, techniques, and software that can be used to promote other digital libraries. CiteSeerX uses Autonomous Citation Indexing (ACI) to automatically create a citation index that can be used for literature search and evaluation. CiteSeerX also computes citation statistics and related documents for all articles cited in the database, not just the indexed articles, and allows browsing the database using citation links. CiteSeerX can show the context of citations to a given paper, allowing a researcher to quickly and easily see what other researchers have to say about an article of interest, provides automatic notification of new citations to given papers, and lists new papers matching a user profile. - This database contains the CAS Registry Number®, chemical names (both formal and common), molecular formulas, and structures or sequences for ~7800 chemicals of widespread general public interest. These substances are of global commercial use or importance and have been cited 1,000 or more times in the CAS Databases.
