Loansome Doc, Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan

Loansome Doc allows users to order full-text copies of articles from a local medical library directly from PubMed. Users must register, create an account to use Loansome Doc.

Registration Instructions:

Note: Registration required for both Loansome Doc and ILLiad

  1. Register with Loansome Doc.
    Select Utah then select University of Utah, Eccles Health Sciences Library.
  2. Register with Illiad.
    Eccles Health Sciences Library's Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan System.
    Note:
    Use your Loansome Doc ID and password for ILLiad.

Loansome Doc Ordering

In PubMed results:

  1. select articles - click the check box left of article
  2. select 'Send to Order' from the pull down menu
  3. log in to Loansome Doc and complete your order
